Thanks for the article! The problem with divine ‘love’ or ‘Love’ – and with your essay – is that you need to ‘believe in it’ (the whole package) at the outset otherwise disappointment awaits. You don’t define it, or specify how this (supposedly crucial divine capacity) ‘works itself out’ in experience, other than allude to it as something obvious/taken for granted. So the ‘how?’ question of your title remains unaddressed. (Just to be clear: I’m not looking for guidance in divine ‘Love’ – I’m looking for plain & simple non-doctrinaire evidence of what the theory ‘God is Love’ etc actually amounts to, ie above and beyond hemispheric brain states, psychedelic freak-outs, Bible quotes, etc.)
